The Challenge and Goals
The Canadian Association of Cultural Studies (CACS-ACÉC) is made up of different members across universities. The association previously had a website that was decommissioned and lost in a transfer between universities.
CACS-ACÉC wanted to develop a new logo and brand identity that was more professional and reflected the organization's name in French and English. They also needed a new website that would reflect their new brand, be accessible, and encourage visitors to join the association.
Our Process & Approach
Consultation
Our process began with an initial meeting to determine the project needs for the association to understand their needs and project requirements and ensure the working relationship was a good fit.
Strategy
We created a strategy for the website that outlined their target audience, navigation elements, information architecture, and main CTA's.
Design
Kaylo Digital created wireframes that acted as blueprints for key page layouts and components on the website. This allowed the CACS-ACÉC team to see and understand the structural layout for key pages.
We also designed high-fidelity mockups that created a visual representation of key pages to show what the new website would look like.
Development & Migration
Once the design was agreed upon and signed off on we built out the new website to reflect the mockups and the new branding. We also assisted with choosing and setting up their new domain name.
Training
Once the website was completed Kaylo Digital trained the CACS-ACÉC web team on how to make updates to the new website.
