The Background

The York U Science department websites were redesigned as part of a university-wide website optimization project. Various websites within the department were outdated, had poor navigation and information structure issues, were built on misaligned platforms, and they weren’t aligned with the university’s branding. This often made it difficult for faculty, staff, students, and other website visitors to navigate and find information on the websites and it also led to a confusing series of websites that weren’t aligned.

The Work & Results

Our Founder, Shanakay, worked with various department teams at York U Science to redesign and migrate various department websites in WordPress to align with a new university-wide template. She consulted with multiple departments within the faculty to redesign their websites.

On this project, she consulted with and led the redesign of the outdated Math & Statistics website in WordPress. She also trained and supported web editors on WordPress as needed.
